Cocoa Powder

Cocoa Powder is a widely used food ingredient derived from cocoa cake and valued for its rich chocolate flavour, aroma and colour. It is produced by fermenting, drying, roasting and grinding cocoa beans into cocoa liquor and cocoa butter. The remaining is known as cocoa cake is finely milled to obtained the powder. Cocoa powder is available in Natural and Alkalised (Dutch-processed) forms. With good dispersion properties and consistent performance, both grades are suitable for dry and liquid applications such as bakery, beverages, confectionery and food manufacturing. Fat Content typically ranges from 10-12% with other grades available to meet specific processing needs.
